Winter 2020 Newsletter

As the darkening day turns to twilight and as the first stars appear in the sky on the Saturday evening before the First Sunday of Advent and the approaching new year of the church’s calendar, monastic communities for over well over a thousand years have sung a hymn known by its Latin name, Conditor alme siderum. We know it in our hymnal by the English translation, Creator of the stars of night.
