Deans' Note February 27, 2022

This Sunday we come to the culmination of our Epiphany Season as we hear the story of Jesus' transfiguration from Luke's Gospel and prepare for our Lenten journey. Join us online Tuesday evening for the burning of the palms in preparation for Lent, and join us the next day, Ash Wednesday, in person at noon or 6:30. These services will also be livestreamed. The quarterly newsletter comes out today (see the link in today's update) with many opportunities for prayer and study and especially this week, pray for peace in our war torn world.

Eternal God, in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn

but the sword of righteousness, no strength known but the

strength of love: So mightily spread abroad your Spirit, that

all peoples may be gathered under the banner of the Prince of

Peace, as children of one Father; to whom be dominion and

glory, now and for ever. Amen.
