Deans' Note Apr. 4, 2021

On this Holy Saturday, we anticipate the joyful Easter feast! We thank all our staff and volunteers for the hours of work that has gone into our digital Holy Week liturgies and encourage everyone to join us digitally tomorrow morning at 11:00 for a beautiful celebration of resurrection with colorful flowers and exultant music. We won't be together physically but know you are joined with all our siblings in Christ who will worship together tomorrow morning. Come to the Great Vigil of Easter tonight as well and worship with our Bishop, John Taylor, and other Episcopalians from across our diocese at 8:00 p.m. We also thank all of you who have given your special offerings to help make these services happen. If you would still like to contribute and make a gift in honor of someone please do so. We will place your name and tribute on the screen on the third Sunday of Easter ( next week is a diocesan service).

Finally, today at noon we begin our very first in-person service inside to wait with our Lord at the tomb. Much of life is about waiting -- moving from grief to hope, death to life. That's especially true this year So we hope you will help us re-imagine our life together as we transition to a different reality and re-emerge and take steps toward more in-person worship. Please complete the survey included in this update this weekend. Your thoughts will help us as we plan for the future. Jesus Christ has truly risen!
