Children and Youth Chapel will be available at the 10.00 a.m. service. We welcome the children and youth to the CYF Room after the opening acclamation and return during the peace.

Coffee hour has been sponsored by Canterbury USC as they celebrate ninety years of ministry. Consider sponsoring coffee hour one Sunday in the month of your birthday. Use the sign-up sheet in the fountain courtyard or contact the Rev. Mel Soriano.

Canterbury USC: 90th Anniversary

September 14 (THIS SUNDAY)

10.00 a.m.

St. John’s will be filled with joy, gratitude, and community spirit as all celebrate 90 years of Canterbury USC. The service will be led by our young people (Mr. Adam Tittle to preach). Other members of the organization will also be present. A special presentation will be made during the service.

Canterbury USC began at St. John’s in 1934 and has been a spiritual home for USC students for nearly a century - nurturing faith, fostering friendships, and equipping young leaders to serve in the world.

This anniversary is not just a look back, it’s a celebration of all that God is doing through Canterbury USC today. Thanks will be given for the generations of students, chaplains, and supporters who have been part of this ministry, and attendees will pray for the future God is unfolding.

Come and join the celebration! Whether you’re an alum, a current student, a longtime member of St. John’s, or simply someone who loves seeing young adults grow in faith, members would love to welcome you. Stay after the service for fellowship and refreshments as all continue the celebration together.
