News and Events at Canterbury USC ministry
Wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome here.
We are a faith-based organization at nearby St. John's Episcopal Cathedral and a mission of the Episcopal Church. We offer opportunities to worship, study, recreate, and serve in a community of Christian scholars. Our purpose is to foster fellowship, friendship, and spiritual development among college students, other young adults, faculty, and staff.
We meet at St. John's Cathedral at 514 W Adams, on the corner of Adams and Flower. Come be with us! The Cathedral's main Sunday services are at 8am and 10am. On the first Sunday of the month October-May we have a candlelit compline (evening prayer) service at 8pm.
A chaplain is a person appointed to perform religious functions and who will listen to your concerns and can offer spiritual guidance. Contact Rev. Mel Soriano (he/him) at St. John's Cathedral canterburyusc@stjohnsla.org. Or fill out the form below so that he can contact you and walk with you on your spiritual journey.
