The cathedral will welcome The Rt. Rev. Edward “Ed” Little to St. John's Cathedral this Sunday. The service will include the confirmation of several parishioners. A native of New York City, Bishop Little earned his bachelor’s degree from USC and has deep ties to Southern California, having previously served as vicar and first rector of St. Joseph’s Church in Buena Park. Ordained to the priesthood in 1971, he later served as Bishop of the Diocese of Northern Indiana, where he became widely known for his commitment to congregational growth, community-centered ministry, and the expansion of Spanish-language outreach. Bishop Little is also the author of several books on Christian leadership and discipleship. We look forward to welcoming him as he joins us for this joyful occasion in the life of the Church.

We will celebrate the birth of the Church with fun for all ages including face painting, a bounce house, games, hot dogs, and more. Bring your family, invite your friends, and come enjoy a festive afternoon of fellowship, laughter, and community as we celebrate the joy and gifts of the Holy Spirit together.
