Community:

The Church is the place where people can relate to each other as human beings and as brothers and sisters. We seek to create that kind of environment at St. John’s. When you come here, you will receive a warm welcome and we ask that you introduce yourself to one of our clergy. We have different groups at St. John’s to help you find that deeper sense of community beyond Sunday morning.

Kids: We have a place for children here; check out the page that deals with kids at St. John’s on this site for a full description.

Social Life: We have a group of people who love to throw parties and events,. This group plans our social life events at St. John’s including everything from making sure our weekly coffee hour happens after church, to more elaborate events like our annual St. John’s day celebration.

Young Adults: A brand new program at St. John’s young adults group for both single and couples. This is a group that does social things and also shares issues of faith.

Camping: We have folks at St. John’s who like to rough it. They plan camping weekends for anyone who wants to come. It’s a great time of fellowship.

Men’s and Women’s Clubs: St. John’s has groups for men and women of all ages that gather monthly for a meeting, share their ideas and help in projects around the church and sometimes outside in community activities.

Gay and Lesbian Fellowship: A group that meets for meals and other social events as well as support.

Education/Christian Formation: classes and educational events are also a place where we meet and form community. Several opportunities are offered throughout the year. See the Calendar page.
